Default The Triangulum Galaxy M33 in Hydrogen-Alpha

Hello group,

here is the Triangulum Galaxy M33 in hydrogen-alpha, a quite unusual
target.

Instrument: BRC250 F=1268mm + SBIG-ST10XME + filter 6,3nm
Exposed: 4 x 1800seconds (2h):

Interesting comparison with another shots, but made the exact same
setup with luminance filter:

All the best

excellent - it really highlights the HII regions, especially NGC 604.
M33 really is an excellent galaxy for studying all its internal parts.

Well done!!!

That Ha image is fantastic. There is really a lot going on in that Gxy. All goes to show how much we miss looking at luminance images.

Such a hard galaxy to observe! I was quite pleased when I read that M31 is slowly stripping it apart.

If one somehow travelled to Deneb at very close to c then whenever you looked back you'd measure Earth as closer to you than the distance you would simultaneously measure between Earth and Dubhe.

Danilo,

Very nice. I'll have to see if I can add some Ha to my LRGB data from last year.
