Default Mars on September 27 @ 6.5 arcseconds

Here is an image of Mars I took early this morning.

It is still only 6.5 arcseconds, a little less than half the size it will appear this winter. It looks like the polar cap has grown some since my last image in August.

That's a lot of detail for such a small disk.

I took many worse shots at opposition.
