Irish. Hey, I can see footprints on the moon!....touch of the Blarney there. . Congrats on your first astrophoto. Years ago Dennis DiCicco at Hanover High School took a big interest in astrophotos...and is now tech wizard for Sky & Tel, you never know. pete

I can't open either of your links, either, irish. But that could be my browser, which tries to play a bit dumb, now and again...just to test my patience.

Pete, yes I do remember reading quite a bit about his (DiCicco's) eclipse chases and the gorgeous analemmas. A few years ago.
Great accomplishments. Exemplary and inspiring stuff. Thanks for sharing.

mahesh. You're welcome. He graduated just before I taught there, but I met him a few times at the local astro club. pete

Except for being in color and digital it is very similar to my first astrophoto back in 1955 taken by holding the camera up to the eyepiece of my 60mm f/15 refractor. I wonder how things will change in the next 50 years?

Mahesh, its time to download Firefox and see these images.

Yes Sir, we use Firefox at home. Unfortunately, I'm not at home, just now.
I'll be, in a few days...so will catch up on lots of stuff...

This one uses dial up, as well, I suspect.

I'll suggest Firefox to these guys here. I don't have access/authority to change settings for them.

I'm looking forward to seeing your goodies irish.

Oh, this morning, about eleven am, I was waiting for a bus...the Moon was so lovely, high,
just past the last quarter...playing 'hide 'n seek' amongst the rushing, thin clouds. Wished I had had binocs with me... having missed the Europa/Io transit/eclipse, earlier on.

Did any of you folk catch Centaur's ?

Nice pic Irish. It's surprising how well the pictures turn out just by holding a digital camera up to the eyepiece of a telescope.
