This is pretty cool: You can track the Amazon ranking of the book at Amazonscan.com. It lets you look at the stats of the book as it rises and falls in the ranks.

This is also a graph of the BA's income. BTW, did anyone else here buy the book from somewhere other than Amazon? I got mine from a regular book shop. I had to order it because it had only just come out, but I notice that quite a few book shops now stock it on their shelves in the Astronomy section. It's usually with that book by Chaikin, Full Moon and, strangely, Dark Moon. I havn't found it in silly sections yet, with the books by Mary Bennett about dreams and stuff like that, so that's encouraging. I might check to see if our Libraries have it yet. What is Amazon anyway? [ This Message was edited by: johnwitts on 2002-05-05 19:19 ] |

I went to Borders. I too had to order it. The book had only been out less than a week.
Want to know how silly these people are? The put James Randi's books with somethings called "Metaphysics". Mostly its stuff about Tarot and astrology. Lisa |
