The Hugo award breakdown is now available to the public from TorCon III, this year's World Science Fiction Convention. BAD ASTRONOMY was suggested for the Best Related Book category. Dr. Plait's book received a total of 18 votes; 10 more and it would have made the final ballot. Here is where you can find the Hugo results and list of top 15 nominations:

I usually don't resurrect old threads, but this one is funny: I lost the Hugo, but ironically it was to Ron Miller and Fred Durant. Ron is an anti-Moon Hoax guy! And Fred is a friend of mine too, I met him at James Randi's The Amaz!ng Meeting. That's a story I must tell here someday... 8)
