Bad Blog
In the latest BA Blog, there is the following paragraph (referring to 2003 UB313)...
"Realistically, it’s still kinda dinky though. A good guess to its size is 2700 kilometers across, which is only marginally bigger than our own Moon. So we’re not talking even Mercury-size, here, and Mercury is the smallest planet no one argues about. " Our moon isn't quite that small, it's around 3,400km in diameter.  with regards

I got an email about that a few days ago, and corrected it. For some reason, I took the Moon's radius (1734 km) and doubled it to get 2468 km in my head. Duh.

I have found out what causes this error in general, but the specific problem -- where it is in the files -- is eluding me. It's in my spam filter software, so I upgraded to the latest version. I also blacklisted Danigirl and Irish for now (though I hate to do that, but theirs are the comments always causing the grief!).
If it happens again, please post in this thread, and let me know: 1) The exact error message 2) When you got the error (date and time) 3) What blog post you were commenting on That way I can try to trace the problem more accurately. Thanks, and sorry about this.

Your comment is on the blog! So it worked, it seems, even if you got the error. I have looked up the usual causes of this, but cannot find any of them in the code! I'll have to post about it, I suppose, on the wordpress forum.

Yes, to make sure some people or IPs cannot post. The spam filter has a ton of options. I fiddled with it just now, so we'll see if it helps. I removed Danigirl and worm from the blacklist.

I removed worm from the blacklist now. I think it's just that blacklist causing the error, when I put in specific entries to search for. I think I have deleted all of them, so now let's see if the error still happens.
Bythe way, oddly, I never get that error.

I am kind of missing the "next blog entry" and "previous blog entry" links you used to have. It makes it much harder to navigate backwards to previous blog entries the way it is organized now.
