Maybe I should clarify. What a concept. The text and the graphics load very well, but the background (the alternating blue and white) takes as much as a minute to form. This makes reading the text harder.

As I am currently unable to coment on the blog (some router-IP on my way to the BAs site is blacklisted), I will comment here:
Wow, I just realize that all those tiny dots I see in the sky away from the milkyway band are part of our galaxy too. They even are very close to us. I never spend a thought about it and just thought that a part of them are from somewhere farther out. Thousands and thousands of lightyears away... Phil, thank you for ripping my view of the night sky apart and making it possible for me to assemple it in the correct way. That's what I love this site for.

Just noticed. Maybe it got retracted, or just delayed, or accidentally went missing. I probably shouldn't say what it was -- beyond that it was the second shoe to drop. You could probably guess that much from the fact that there exists a "Big Announcement Part 1".
Just in case anyone's the fretful type, it was certainly nothing worriable for your typical BAUT member.

I guess it needed a rewrite, which hasn't finished yet.

I took it down pending some further updates. It'll be back up again soon. Sorry about any confusion.
