Anyone find the "Jesus didn't exist" ads a little unnerving? Those big round dark eyes looking right through your soul?

Is it possible to limit ads to small text ads on the top of the front page of the blog?

When I first viewed the page to begin with, it was THAT image that made me want leave at first. Set off my 'credibility' warning bells. I find myself trying to scroll past it quickly in order to avoid having it stare at me, haha.

I understand the need for advertising, but its way too big .. and right in the center of everything. I could tolerate an ad that size, if it was astronomy or physics related though. I'm slowly getting used to it, but its still disturbing.

It's been discussed. Lots. Sometimes about the BA site. Sometimes about BAUT Forum.

I don't even see the ads most of the time, unless they're the big picture ones. They're just as much background to my mind as the bit at the top that welcomes me; I only really notice it if there's a bold number in "private messages."

I have the "Adblock" add-on for Firefox; it's pretty good at blocking most adds. I read this thread and found myself wondering what the OP was talking about. With said Firefox add-on, as far as I was concerned, BAUT Forum was an addless forum. You should try it.
