Hey BABlogees and BAUTers-

I want to do the live video chat on a regular weekly basis (and maybe even more often in the future). However, I'm not sure what day is best. The time needs to be in the late afternoon/early evening Mountain (US) Time for me, but the day is pretty much open. So I've started this poll to see what everyone else thinks.

There are only 5 options allowed, so I lumped Fri/Sat/Sun into one day -- if any one of those days is good for you, vote for that option. If it gets a huge number of votes, then I'll do a second poll to narrow it down.

Friday's out for me; it's my therapy day. Saturday, I have Planned Social Activities. (Hanging out with a couple of friends.) But any other day is fine.

I say Sunday, its not like us skeptics do anything on that day.

I'd say Friday, as early as possible.

I say weekend, we kids have homework afternoon and evening all the other days.

The day doesn't matter as much to me as advance notice so that I can be sure my daughter is otherwise occupied/supervised during that time.

A weekend is best so as to give us Aussies a chance to participate. Evening in Boulder equates to very early morning for us.

Days of the week aside, a live chat should be held as close as possible to the end of the calendar month so that people (like myself) with a limited download allocation can burn their spare change on something educational!

I don't know what other countries are like, but in Australia, ISP Broadband plans are usually capped and limit you to only a few GB per month. It's a monthly tradition to burn this on useless crap. I urge Phil in the strongest terms to put an end to this barbaric practice.

...and regarding this month, surely a live chat on February 29 is relevant to Astronomy!

Well, Sunday is certainly the front runner. I'll probably do one again this Sunday, and see how it goes.
