Default 12 Billion Additional Galaxies on SKY-MAP.ORG

"This easy-to-use tool enables all Earth users to view and navigate through 100 million individual stars and 200 million galaxies." - http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/..._20070822.html

"Google Sky has 200 million viewable galaxies; WorldWide Telescope will launch with 1.2 million galaxies but soon add 2 billion more." - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...news-col-blogs

During last 12 month the specialists from SKY-MAP.ORG were studding the galaxies calculation methods used by Google and Microsoft. Then these methods were applied for SKY-MAP.ORG data and it allowed to determine that the system demonstrates approximately 12 Billions galaxies. Some of these galaxies are located so fare that they can not be seen by naked aye on the computer screen. But the recent discovery of Sid Pai (one of SKY-MAP.ORG scientists) changed the situation dramatically. Once Sid looked at the SKY-MAP.ORG web-site wearing 3D glasses that he forgot on his face after the IMAX movie. His screen color settings at this moment was as following: red=0, blue=0 and green=100. Sid was just shocked - millions and millions previously hidden galaxies have developed on the screen! All these good news make the sales people from SKY-MAP.ORG really optimistic. For the last 2 months the company was experiencing huge financial difficulties because of the lack of stars for sale (all 500 millions of them were sold through "Inhabited Sky" system). But now having additional 12 billions galaxies company may hope on the successful way out of crisis.
