Default I Hugged Phil!

So some of you may remember I made a video a while back about how I thought Phil was such a good skeptic and science promoter I wanted to give him a BIG HUG...

Well yes, I have hugged Phil. I said "Can I give you a big hug" and he said "um.. well maybe not that big of one.. I mean... no tongue"

Okay... so there was no tongue or anything... but ya know.

Just felt like sharing...

I hope no ones offended if I say I'll be happy with a big handshake?

I'd be happy if he just read my comics.

That's fine, but I think that it's fine to look higher. Dare to dream. Reach for the stars. Dream of something much much greater and one day you might achieve it.

Just look at me. I hugged Phil. He didn't even run away.

I'd consider a handshake highly preferable. Actually, I'd be curious about the cultural development of hugging. When I grew up (mostly in the midwest) there just didn't seem to be a lot of hugging outside of family or other close relationships. But, it seems a lot more popular today in California.

Not just these days Van. I have a lot of male friends I hug upon greeting. Just not out in the market, lets say. Comes from having good friends for a long time.

That's a close relationship. But, it seems today like people will hug almost as often as they would shake hands.

Personally, I don't shake hands very much.
