Default Sibrel to release new video March 11

Folks-

I just talked with a reporter from the newspaper "The Tennessean". He told me that good ol' Bart Sibrel has a second video he is releasing on March 11, featuring him getting humiliated by astronauts after he lies about who he is to interview them. Well, I'm not sure Sibrel would characterize it that way, but his view of reality and mine diverge somewhat.

Anyway, he is giving some kind of talk that night, and showing the video. I gave the reporter a long list of details where Sibrel is wrong (synopsis: everywhere) and also told him to talk to JayUtah.

If anyone lives near there, I would love to see a report of how that evening goes. I'd love to go myself, but there's no way. Sigh, if only the conspiracy theorists were right about me being paid by NASA, then I could afford to actually debunk them full time.

...and also told him to talk to JayUtah.

...who spoke to the reporter for about half an hour, mostly about Sibrel's "secret" footage.

Excccccellent. I also talked about this, and how it's been public domain for years, and how "Not for Public Consumption" doesn't mean secret, and how Sibrel grossly misinterprets it.

Eegads! Won't this guy ever quit? All he's doing is making life harder for the Apollo astronauts.
If commercial moon flights are ever available, lets send him up on one, but secretly divert to Venus. (I know. That was mean!)
Surprised he's not all over the Mars rovers. Then again, people walked on the moon. So far, machines have dominated Mars.

You have a gift for understatement.

Maybe a few new reviews explaining Bart's "exclusive footage" on amazon.com would be good. Hit me before it gets out.

I had an interesting thought. Do you think that this Mary Morrelli/Brian Wilson/Charles Hawkins book/TV show could have been a set-up for Bart's new piece of garbage.

I doubt it. The operation seems to have been run out of Minnesota, whereas Sibrel works in Tennessee. I can't see any connection between the "Whiz Kids" and what Sibrel is trying to accomplish.

I was thinking of the Buzz Aldrin incident in CA. Fooled Buzz into going to something that didn't exist. Thought that Bart might be trying again, except getting at the debunkers.

Here's another point to consider: If an HB has initials that are "BS", you know what to expect!

BA, I live in Nashville. Assuming that it's somewhere in the area, I'll try to go.

Heh, maybe I can get kicked out. ;-) Hutch, wanna join me and see if we can BOTH get kicked out? Hey, maybe we can get a few NASA people to come up here too. I know a few who work down in H'ville.

I think that the best strategy would be to take notes...then if there is a question and answer period, point out his factual errors.

Added...of course, if I had to listen to Bart's "garbage" for an extended period of time, I might be tempted to just jump up and say...You, Sir, are an idiot.

Avatar, I'm seriously considering it, but it's a Thursday night and my bosses have this weird idea that I should be at work on Friday at 0700. Hope you can get some MSFC folks up that way.

If I decide to go, I'll PM you. and I'm 6'2", 275 lbs--it'll take a LOT of kicking to get me out1

And I'm 6'2", 255. It would be fun to have Bart try to kick us out. Of course, we're not 72 year old gentlemen either, so that wouldn't be his cup of tea.

LOL. I'm not quite as big as you folks. And you're right, I would probably just take a few notes until I couldn't deal with it anymore. One could only hope there's a question/answer session beforehand. I'll need to do some cramming on my anti-hoax arguments first though. Wonder how many questions it would take before he got mad at me. :-)
