Default For our Central European members

The German-French tv-channel arte will re-run the satirical lunar conspiracy movie "Kubrick, Nixon und der Mann im Mond!" this evening, April 1st  at 22:20.

A whole evening will be dedicated to the subject of conspiracy theories on April 13.

I thought it might be worth pointing out for the rest of our loyal readers, the movie linked to is German, not Danish, but you don't even have to understand German to get it. I skipped it myself at first, assuming it was in Danish, until I saw Charlie's reaction and just had to know. Then I almost started thinking the above was a case of someone mixing up Danish and German (possibly because of a .de?), until I saw it was Harald, who would probably know better.
Anyway, watch it, even if you're completely monolingual.

That was the connection. ;-)

BTW:

Translation of the captions:

------------
Neil Armstrong is the first human stepping onto the surface of the Moon.
600 million people follow the landing live on tv.

But some watchers don't trust the tv images.

They refer to published photos of the lunar mission which say contain mistakes.

"The moonlanding was staged in a NASA film studio", sceptics accuse the americans.

Also the rocks from the moon were called fakes.

But what happened really?
Was the first lunar landing really just an...

ILLUSION

I have a problem with the "CNN" on camera 4 on the home page. In 1969, cable was only used to hold up suspension bridges. Someone is trying to do some major league leg yanking, as for the rest, I couldn't get the video to run so I'll have to take your word for it.
