Default From The Dustbin of History...

MSNBC News today:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5431472/

"In addition, several hundred sticky-tape swaths of lunar dust, retrieved by space workers from Apollo spacesuits and from the bottoms of returned sample boxes, are also believed to be in private hands."

Never thought of that, but i can imagine the scene.

The remnants of the aluminized Mylar layer on the outside of the command modules were picked clean by the recovery forces. Much of that has made its way into private hands.

So, do these people realize that they have nothing more than ordinary dust from the Nevada desert? Or is it random dust from that studio in Langley, VA?

I imagine they do, but they have to keep the hoax going. We all know how great the gubmint is about keeping things secret even to the smallest detail.
