I think the answer to this question is no, but since I don't really know: Could the lunar rover tracks be imaged?

No, they couldn't. Although they go on for several kilometres they are only a few inches wide, therefore you would need far greater resolution than SMART-1 will have.

With a good resolution (no more than 2-3 m/pixel), they could probably see the tracks. The Mars Global Surveyor has detected the MER rover tracks on a 1.5 m/pixel resolution.

If by "tracks" is meant the entire disturbance, then perhaps 1.5 mpp would work. The rationale here is that you have the imprints of the tires, which are only a few inches wide. But if you are able to detect the difference between disturbed and undisturbed soil -- which isn't at all impossible -- then you can possibly see the dust thrown to either side of the vehicle and behind it.
