Default NASA 30min docos???

Hi everyone,

I while back I read about someone having the Apollo 30 minute long documentaries (eg On the Shoulders of Giants, Nothing So Hidden). I cannot find that thread anymore. Could the person who has them (and I believe they are on pro quality format) give me a bell, or simply respond to this thread.

While I am posting, I must say that this site has been wonderful for allowing me to exponentially raise my knowldge bar on all things Apollo. When I first started reading posts, I was very much a pro-Apollo man, but the hypothetical question of "maybe it was faked" was in the back of my mind.

As all of you have repeatedly state, the advocates of the conspiracy play on people's lack of knowledge on the subject. Thankfully, you folk, and my own sense of "I need to figure this out for myself" has seen me become 100% pro Apollo. I think some people out there need to quit watching X-files day and night, and start reading. (This coming from someone who works in TV...I mean my continued employment relies on people wilfully allowing themselves to be made more stupid!!!)

Cheers,

Dwight

I have them, but they're on VHS.

I know Mark Gray is looking for pristine versions. That's why I asked. Bummer.

My versions are far from pristine. They're not even very good. Many of them are distributed with the Apogee mission report books, but in highly compressed digital format. I keep "For All Mankind" on my laptop just for an occasional warm-fuzzy. I don't know of any good sources for those. They were produced by AV Films of Houston, and I once attempted unsuccessfully to find them or their successors.

On the shoulders of giants, Nothing so hidden and the documentaries for apollo 11,13,15 and apollo soyuz are on the first 2 disks of a dvd set called Nasa-50 years of space exploration. I assume these are the same documentaries.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...877190-8252625 Is a link to a region 1 copy on amazon. I know there is a region 2 set as its available in shops in the UK for £10. Yet another shiny object entered jumbos mounting collection when i saw that! Whether or not these are available in Germany i dont know.
