I see your point. As I did a little more thinking on this subject (why does hulk's head hurt when hulk thinks?) you may be right. This could give him a launching pad where he would be given the opportunity to bring his "unique" ideas to the forefront. In the short term, this could pose a problem, and give rise to a new crop of woo woo's. In the end, the debunkers would prevail and expose him as a sensationalist.
