THIS IS THE FAMOUS "CITY COMPLEX" discussed by Richard Hoagland in his book of Moon Artifacts! Look for that illusive jack-In-The-Box On the Moon Drive Thru!....
That is really funny. Perhaps we should start a secret organization to sell other photos like this to the gullible then use the profits for educational purposes, to counter Hoagland. Na, probably not. Something or another about ethics would get into the way.

I guess, the seller is only poking fun on Hoagland's hogwash.

Nitpicking:

LUNAR ORBITER Photo AS10-32-4822:
He mixes lunar orbit with Lunar Orbiter, a probe to map the moon in search for suitable landing sites for Apollo. But at least the image id seems to be correct: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/research/apo...10/32/4822.jpg
Taken by Apollo 10 from lunar orbit.

Enlarged right from the Negative by NASA's NSSDC, in Green Belt Maryland.
AFAIK, the NSSDC isn't custodian for the original Apollo negatives, they are at JSC. But NSSDC may have copies from the original negatives to provide researchers with prints from them.

This one is the supposedly infamous pic that RCH used to find his "Castle" anomaly. Read all about it at TEM if you wish. According to the Hoaxmeister, NASA took multiple auto-winder images of this area & they aren't listed in the books. He found it by ordering copies of pics from SP-232 that were blacked out in the thumbnails. Lo & behold, this one had a crystalline castle suspended over the lunar surface in it! Then he ordered further copies from other repositories, and they were all different. This of course proves, that NASA took secret pics of the moon. This is according to Hoagie, don't blame me, I just study cranks!

The Mare Crisium pic the same guy is selling, is from Hoagies' "Crystalline Dome" over Mare Crisium page, also available @ TEM. Enjoy....

What a big lie that is. NASA is just like any other publisher. They publish a limited number of books and that's it. Usually, they don't even do second printing.

Personally, I'd love to order a dozen or so, SP-232. becuase then I could sell them on ebay for a couple of hundred bucks.

Default SP-232

SP-232 can be ordered on microfilm. Actual hard copies are hard to come by. The PSR's go for $150-$300 each, depending on condition.

Each NASA field center acts as a regional office for contact information. You can order copies of any of the photographs from NASA, either JSC or any of the other centers. The other centers may or may not have copies themselves from which to make your copy. If not, they would order it from JSC.

But the original film is in strorage at JSC. (They aren't negatives, they're positives. And your photo wouldn't be a first generation copy, but a third or fourth generation print.)
