No, the NYC model was built just a few years ago. I'll wager we haven't seen the last of it.

And John, those are earth coordinates. The scary thing is that if you check those coordinates on a U.S. map, you won't find any evidence of a military base there!

Um, I know this whole thread is tongue-in-cheek, but... what is the explanation for the NYC model? Is it intended to be a representation of NYC at some specific historical period? Like maybe in the 40's or something?
