Yeah, good point. That did escape me for the moment. I can't help but wonder how many people would wade through the 70+ pages of that kind of drivel in the quest for real knowledge though.

Heh, I always keep a crate of them handy. My PC always seems to lock up and catch fire when ever I check in here.

I think you are beeing too kind. If we were to just all pick up and move over here from where we are already, I would lay odds he wouldn't make it half a page. Of course, that also depends on how busy the BA is, and how quickly IDW would get busted.

I don't see how a reasonable person could read through that thread and conclude that IDW has any sort of case at all.

It's GLP. I think you just insulted "reasonable people" by inferring they would read that.

Yea, it doesn't take a rocket scientist, because I certainly ain't one. IDW exhibits all the classic symptoms of a paranoid schizophrenic, which of course makes GLP the perfect place for him.

I find myself wondering just what the real deal is with him. He's obviously not stupid. I think he got in way over his head when Jay and others made a rare trip to GLP land and he basically freaked.

I always write for lurkers, or even known readers.

Inviting IDW here did not presume he would actually accept the offer. But it does compel him to explain why he will not come, and thus we get more amusement in the form of fabricated stories of computer hijacking. I'm essentially calling his bluff. He won't come out of his carefully crafted fantasy world, and that's all that has to be said about him.

IDW makes me think of that line from the movie A Fish Called Wanda,

"Calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people."

This site destroys hard drives? Or is that sarcasm?? Or IDW's fabricated hijaking related excuse??? (NOT going to GLP to find out).

I posted a new thread over at GLP: "Question about Interdimensional warrior - Regulars, please help." to see if he really did have any support over there. There havn't been any messages that support him yet but there has been one pretty interesting response:

There were, IIRC, three simple questions about physics. IDW did everything but burn GLP down to avoid answering.......he just dodged and weaved like BushCo.

I realized then that Iīd been listening to a freak, and havenīt paid him attention since.

Well, it was obvious to me from Day One what I was listening to. I just wanted to give him an opportunity to remove any doubt.

I guess IDW has never heard this one:

That was one of IDW's excuses, that the site was malicious, and trashed his hard drive. He said he lost some very important work LOL

May have shut him up for a while. He's been quite for longer than normal.

I lowered myself to his level and posted in such a way that he really couldn't answer it.

It's here about 3/4 of the way down.

72 pages over there.... it is like that car crash someone mentioned earlier.... we .... just ... have ... to ....look ....

IDW took this quote out of context and wrongly attributed it to me, implying that I have little disregard for the truth. Your statement makes sense, of course, in the context in which you intended it. You were saying that IDW has little regard for the truth, and I wholeheartedly agree. Itīs all about supporting his fantasy world..
Jay, after you posted that I did check back on the way I wrote it (page 68 ) just to ensure the context was quite clear. You picked up on it correctly, and it again seems quite clear to me ..... just IDW had other contexts....

Oh, and I really should change the ID to something like SF I guess.... oops! ops:

Specifically he claimed that when he last visited BABB, this site trashed his computer's hard drive. And so he'll never come back. That's his excuse for why he won't debate his findings outside GLP.

When pressed as to why he didn't report it or try to recover damages, he said the matter was investigated but nothing conclusive was determined, and he implied that since BABB was "obviously" government-owned, he'd never get a judgment for damages.

Whatever.

I can see it now.... in BB's office....

BB standing on his desk.... he jumps off the desk onto the floor.

Office colleague : "Why did you do just stand on your desk, then jump off?"

BB : "Oh, I'm just doing the calculations for the force of the Apollo docking maneuvre."

Office colleague : " "

And then (FWIW) I put up at the top of page 72:

72 pages!!!

Time to leave him to rant and rave to himself...

.... and probably each "personality" to congratulate the other on their "victory"...

Perhaps the two together will have an effect....

Although I have a feeling that silence will only be temporary.... it won't take long till the pent up emotions (or should that be rants?) can't be held back any longer.....
