Shouldn't that flag be waving a bit more with 50 zillion pounds of rocket pressure being pushed against it?
Also, why are some of the stars on the flag brightly illuminated, and others can barely be seen? There's only one light source on Earth! ![]() |

OK, seriously. This thread got me browsing through the Apollo Image Gallery, and I ran into this really cool image. It's apparently a long exposure shot of the Apollo 17 launch. But look! There are stars in the picture! :wink:
