Default Cool Apollo pictures

I just found this one, so I thought I'd start a topic. What's your favourite Apollo picture?

(I found this one interesting because I've never seen shock waves on anything except supersonic planes)

Cool picture, although it is fake. If the flag actually WAS that close to the exhaust it would have caught on fire and burned!

Not to mention that it's ridiculous to put that muff around the second stage. Couldn't they come up with a better way of keeping it warm?

Shouldn't that flag be waving a bit more with 50 zillion pounds of rocket pressure being pushed against it?
Also, why are some of the stars on the flag brightly illuminated, and others can barely be seen? There's only one light source on Earth!

That's is one of the greatest pictures or all time, with the possible exception of that 'Thankyou, may I have another' guy. Too bad it's so grainy.

Actually the flag is normal sized, but the rocket is only 6 inches long. Its a toy one and you can clearly see that NASA forgot to take all the wrapping materials off of it. Proves we didn't go to the moon.

How about this one, or would this qualify as most UNcool picture.

I actually used to dress like one of these guys, but I won't say which one.

OK, seriously. This thread got me browsing through the Apollo Image Gallery, and I ran into this really cool image. It's apparently a long exposure shot of the Apollo 17 launch. But look! There are stars in the picture!

That is pretty cool. I noticed that the width of the exhaust plume gets thicker toward the top of the picture. That might be due to the plume expanding outward as the atmospheric pressure drops.
