Default Back on board, a little self-promotion

I'm back after a heart attack and various other annoyances. I devoutly hope that HBs will find this discouraging.

The transcript of my Hoax-hoax rebuttal appearance on KJTV-34 in March, 2001 is back up at the NASAWATCH archives. It was down for a couple of years. The first paragraph is from my e-mail introducing the transcript to NASAWATCH.
(I am Jimmy Reynolds, "local debunker" and some-time media hanger-on. My partner in this was Harvey Madison, a noted spaceflight enthusiast, critical thinking activist and professional photographer.)

This wasn't much, about 2 minutes, but the reporter's great graphics helped a lot and I regret that there is no video clip of the segment.
I wish we could have gotten Phil or JayUtah or one of the other real experts for this but time was short and the station wanted a local angle.
This segment ran during the 9 o'clock news immediately after the Hoax-hoax re-run. It was apparently fairly effective: about 40 people mentioned it to me over the succeeding few days, many asserting that it had changed their minds completely.
To the best of my knowledge, KJTV (Lubbock, Texas) was the only Fox affiliate to run a direct rebuttal like this.

The Houston fox (notice not in caps) affilliate had Alan Bean for a few minutes but that was it.

Sounds like TPTB couldn't keep you down.
