"The Apollo moon landing -- Is it really a hoax?
Written by Ross Cutts
Published on Wednesday, March 02, 2005

(.....................)

But within the last few years this icon of human spirit has become tarnished with more and more so called “documentaries” being released that clam to have proof that we in fact did not go to the moon. It is through these false documentaries and other media outlets that over half of the world’s population is now under the impression that the moon landings where a hoax. So in this edition of “An entertaining read,” I am going to give you (the intelligent and sophisticated Sting reader), the conspiracy theorists’ evidence.

The challenge here is to see if you can come up with the logical explanation of why their claims are wrong. Let me remind everyone that all the clams thus given by the conspiracy theorists can logically be explained and proven incorrect. I will be presenting four of the most common moon hoax claims, and answering two of them. I will then publish the names of the readers that can give me the correct answer for the other two as well as print the solutions in the next issue. So send your theories to a.entertaining.read@gmail.com."

Wow!! Is this the same Ross Cutts who was one of my lecturers at UWS here in Australia a number of years ago?

I wonder what train of events led him to Southern Polytech State University?? (Great guy, by the way)

(Man, it is a small world! )

I like the approach that this contest takes. It doesn't spoon feed the answers (which are typically forgotten very quickly).
