Default Apollo quiz endgame

This is an astronomy board and we cannot stand by and allow this board to be eaten up by that stupid word association game. We must show how intelligent and anorach-like we truly are.

The rules are simple. A question is posed. When you answer it, you can ask another one straight away.

I'll start us off in a tasteful note.

1. What was the caption to first playmate on Pete Conrad's cuff checklist?

2. What was the name of Pete's PREFFERED TETHER PARTNER?

Well that's a very good question. I'm very glad you asked me that question.

It's this sort.
LINK (nudity, though low-res)

And now for something completely different.

3. What three new experiments did the Apollo 13 ALSEP have over the Apollo 12 ALSEP?

Image edited to be a link by The Bad Astronomer. Glom, shame on you.

I have to say I wonder how our host is going to feel about the photos so far associated with this thread.

Hey, they are from a server run by US govt and part of the documentation of a history project
In the beginning of the ALSJ, the photos were heavily censored. Later, Eric got bolder and scans were unchanged (the scans in the ALSJ are from photocopies done during interview sessions, thus the low quality).
For purely historical research reasons, the source of the images were tracked down to the Playboy Playmate calender from 1970 and high resolution scans were disseminated among Erics inner circle of ALSJ contributors. 8)

Whoops!

kucharek, shame on you for drawing out this highly unsuitable topic. What were you thinking?

Now onto my question.

Come on, people. We must show the board what we're made of.

All right 8)

I know one of the three experiments.
They had a small deposit of radioative material.
