That article quotes Sibrel as saying he didn't poke Aldrin, but it also quotes Lt. Gilmond as "(Sibrel) poked Mr. Aldrin repeatedly with the Bible, telling him to repent, and pushing the Bible in his face."

Also in this CNN article, it quotes: The police spokesman added that witnesses have come forward stating that they saw Sibrel aggressively poke Aldrin with a Bible and that Sibrel had lured Aldrin to the hotel under false pretenses so that he could interview him.

We shouldn't be surprised that Sibrel lied again.

I've spent a lot of time just lurking on the forum and not posting.
Also, I got involved in that whole ugly Planet X thing over at Paltalk. I was bounced from a pro-X room so many times I felt like I should have been wearing a rubber suit.
It's the Aldrin flap that's really gotten me back into this. How dare Sibrel stalk and harass Mr. Aldrin! Bart thinks Mr. Aldrin is a liar. So what. Since I'm on a few forums, I probably read two dozen things I think are lies before I've had breakfast.
Does this give me the right to stalk, harass, and intimidate the people I don't believe? I don't think so.
Of course, I'm not the one trying to scam people with silly videos, either.

A punch in the face may not have been the best response -- and note I say may not -- but Sibrel is a hulking and arguably dangerous character who has a history of stalking, harassing, and threatening astronauts.

Given the content of the CNN account, I can't see Buzz being charged. But with any luck, maybe Barty Boy will be! I hope Buzz already has his lawyers at work on an injunction to keep BS (what a coinky-dink! His intials are the same as...uh...you know...bull sh*t) from ever using the tape in any manner.

What a creep he truly must be, if he'd use a Bible as a weapon. It can't possibly mean anything to him if he'd so demean it.

I don't normally watch "Celebrity Death Match", but I would make an exception for this one.

What really insults me, and a lot of people I'm sure, is the fact that Sibrel used a Bible to poke Aldrin on the chest with. As a religious person, I found this indident disgusting. I don't want to turn this thread into a religious discussion, just to say that Sibrel's tactics were insulting.

BTW, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that Bart Sibrel's initials are B.S?

BS (hehe) tries to follow him, and his camera crew stays where they where, it seems like they are thinking, "What the hell is this guy doing?" and he keep trying to get them to go with him across the street.

Too bad they didn't abandon him.

I think any judge in his/her right mind will slap the assault charges on Sibrel rather than Buzz. Aldrin clearly requests that someone call the police while Sibrel is verbally assaulting him, blocking his way and calling him a liar.

It is interesting that they may have found the third stage of Apollo 12. Check out the better article on spaceflightnow.com about how chaotic the orbit is for this object.

I think the real hoax here is Sibrel's claim to have a Bible.

If you look very closely at the video tape, you will see a book in Sibrel's hand. Now, you may have to freeze frames to see it if you have a DSL or maybe Road Runner, but if your ISP connection is as slow to load and play video as mine is, you'll easily be able to see the words "Oxford Unabridged Dictionary" on the cover of Sibrel's book. Honest, you will.

See, my investigation of Sibrel has revealed that he has a little problem with the real Bible. Being as it is the ultimate symbol of truth, justice, and honesty, it tends to heat up to about 450 degrees Farenheit in the sticky hands of a blatant liar. Thus, Sibrel is unable to even pick one up. The Bible on the video tape was a hoax, a falsehood, and a complete fabrication!

This is the truth that has so long been withheld from the American people. This is the real story. Any claim to the contrary is a conspiracy and a cover up.
