Sometimes, I think a good old fashioned butt kicking is a beneficial learning experience*. After this incident, I doubt Sibrel went around getting in other peoples' faces, calling them liars and thieves. Buzz taught him that such crass actions can have painful consequences.

*My wife tells me that wife beating is rare in her native Philippines. Women tend to have large extended families there. Should some husband beat his wife, he'll soon get confronted by her father and a large cadre of brothers, cousins, etc. who will procede to teach him the error of his ways. She says it's understood and even the husband's family knows the score.

Oh, pooh-pooh. Sometimes one has to defend one's physical space when it is intentionally (and in Aldrin's case, repeatedly) violated.

What did you expect Buzz to do, allow Sibrel to use his cellulite to bowl him over and then, as would behoove a former astronaut expressing a mature response while reclining on the ground, yell "Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"?
