Looks like we're doomed in the PR battle, the valiant efforts of Jim O and the BA notwithstanding.
That stalwart bastion of media integrity, the , was originally among the journalistic sources that helped refute Fox's Loathsome Moon Hoax Show (LMHS). As I pointed out in a post on the old BA board, WWN ran an article claiming that Apollo astronauts had discovered an alien grave on the moon; obviously meaning that the landings really happened.
Alas, the WWN has again switched sides, running a new article in support of moon hoax claims. This cites none other than David Percy's Dark Moon as a source.

Other highlights this week: "Is your neighbor an Al Qaeda terrorist?" and "The Real Reason Space Aliens are Mutilating Cattle".

Dang, well the journalistic qualidfications of the WWN is enought for me to believe it. Well might as well pack up this siute and not bother going onto the radio BA. WWN solved it.

P.S. dang even i can't fathom someone believeing that mag. I love picking it up because it is so much fun to read. They know they are stupid. They, in my opinion, are one of the top satire mags around. They are fake and they know it.

Ah, the good old WWN. In the Astronomy TA Office at BU, we have a nice picture of the Ring Nebula taken from the WWN. The caption called it a "Space Eye" that is watching us--and they said it even blinks, too!

I thought it was all the fault of the inexperienced new guy, which happened in the first season "South Park" episode "Cartman Gets An (Bleep) Probe".
