It appears that the Martians, which shot down the Mars Polar Lander (MPL), have attempted to disable the Mars Global Surveyor, which is in Mars orbit, so that it cannot get good pictures of the crash site. As you may recall, the Martians had significant success, shooting down probes such as the MPL, Beagle II, and others. The battle continues. |
