Default Do you think Bart Sibrel Wrote this Review?

I saw this review on amazon, and it reminded me of Bart's work.

Any comments.

Eventually I'll report it, but not till everyone has had a chance to review it.

It appears that the reviewer didn't inherit his father's 'sense' genes....

Well given that the reviewer has a "Real Name" badge by his name, which means that they used the same name as on their Credit Card, until he's really going to extremes, I doubt it was Bart.

I guess I should have looked at what the "Real Name" thing meant.

It still looks like it was copied from Bart's site.

How odd. I was just about to start a new post about this.

The HBs are getting desperate. Posting OT reviews? 250 degrees CELSIUS surface temperature? Tears and rage? No extant technical specifications on LM available? Heck, I could print out the manuals that came on the Virtual LM CD, bind them together, and you'd have a book big enough to knock home invaders unconcious! Whatever...

And YES, any new book about Armstrong is welcome, as long as it's properly researched. Which reminds me, I really should get back to First Man...

Actually, if you read the review, he claims that's the atmospheric temperature. Makes you want to sit him down with a children's book about the moon, doesn't it?

Is that a "run on" sentence or what?

I'm amazed that the "no stars" argument is still around. It's been debunked to death.

Perhaps we should invite this "fellow" here to discuss his ideas.

The "Gentleman" never mentions the content of the book. There is no proof he read it. A true CTer no doubt, rehashing false data to prove his point.

No and that's why Amazon will probably pull it once they find out about it. What amazing drivel. I don't think it's Bart though. The arguments are more Interdimentional Warrioresque though much more easy to read.

You know...you are right. The "Gentleman" says absolutely nothing about the subject of the book Neil Armstrong's life. It's just an HB rant. It's not a book review at all.

Well, he might have enjoyed the star show, and wanted to wax enthusiastic about it, but when he was on the far side (not "dark" side, please) he was out of radio contact and no one could hear him. And when he was on the near side and in radio contact, he had other things to do. Also, NASA was probably much more interested in communicating with Armstrong and Aldrin than listening to Collins talking about the stars he saw.

As predicted his review disappeared. Others must have reported him, because I didn't.
