Why don't we use the HST to take a photograph of Elvis' supposed 'grave' and proove conclusively that he's still in the ground? After all, if it can see galaxies billions of miles away, it should be able to see Mr presley in the ground.... right?

OK, I may have been reading too many of the current CT threads....

Except that Moon Man cannot return, being forever banned.

Oh why, oh why can't this thread die!

I tell you, it hangs to life more than a red dwarf star.
Die already!

Of course I know... after all, he got my blood boiling too.
But, that aside, it's still possible for him or some cohorts of his that aren't banned to read it (not that I would expect them to)

Who wants to read a 60 page thread? The MoonMan Tribute Page is still up and most of the quotes are from this thread. I think that my favorite is this one:

"Correct if I'm wrong, peeps, but the vacuum begins on the other side of our atmosphere and runs to the end of our universe, is that it..?"

or maybe this one:

"The moon is in deep space. When it's sunny on the moon is it sunny (light out) in deep space, say 100 miles in space above the moon..?"

It's hard to choose. Wow, this guy claimed to be a famous lawyer.

Default Mma

I'm wondering if we don't need a Moon Man Anonymous organization, just like we had for HeWhoMustNotBeNamed.

Indeed. Just the same old news, ad nauseum.

Please, can some mod just lock this thread? It's so far past its expiration date, the mold is starting to evolve.

I like this thread. It feels like home. If it's locked, I'll probably still come here and think about the fun times we had.

(just kidding, lock the sucker)

I echo the comments made here to you David C, and ask that you restate your comments in a new thread. Further, try restating your comments fresh, in a manner that will alow polite critique and counterpoint.

I also welcome you to the forum, and I thank you for the restraint and politeness you have exihibted so far.

I will be locking this thread in 3 (or so, depending on my availability) days.
