Oh come on now, they have more wiggle room than that. The Mythbuster guys were in special effects in Hollywood! Heck, the Illuminanti/NASA probably hired them with Kubrick to make the fake landing.

If it helps, Jay, your name is the one that jumped out and allowed my to use my cat-like reflexes to hit the pause button (on the 18 billionth try). I didn't notice Phil's until I finally got the frame frozen.
...of course, they listed Phil first, so they must like him better.... ![]() Oh, and I'm starting a thread in Small Media with the spoiler warning for those of us who saw it, or don't want to wait for it to air in Europe. (Unless it's been started already).

You could argue that BA's name comes before Jay's alphabetically....

Phil had a more direct role, and has an established relationship already with them. It's quite proper for him to receive higher billing, if in fact the order of listing has any significance. Phil and I discussed some of the issues between ourselves, and then Phil presented our consensus to the producers. I additionally consulted with the producers a bit myself on the finer points of photometry.

And still the woo-woos are arguing that they have pix from Life Magazine that prove it's all a hoax.
They won't present it, because it would mean tearing out pages. One of them told me this just minutes ago. I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP!

Yeah, because its not like you can just put the whole magazine into a flatbed scanner open at the right page rather than having to rip out the page.

Nitpick: their model Neil Armstrong has a red stripe on the helmet to indicate that he's the commander (something Adam specifically notes). But the red stripe wasn't introduced until Apollo 12.

The BA said on the blog that he was going to tease Adam about the stripe.

Nitpick: The red stripe was introduced on Apollo 13, not 12. Of course, it didn't make its debt on the lunar surface until Apollo 14.

I got a couple of Moon Hoax Believers to agree to read JayUtah's site. Maybe all hope is not lost.
ETA: On of them came back with this imminently logical response: "Lens Flares! Ha Ha Ha!"
