I suspect this has been discussed here some time in the past, but just in case it hasn't, I thought I'd post it. Pay particular attention to Nazi spacecraft powered by the "free energy tachyon drive" and the bit that says EVA suits are not needed on the Moon (in fact, what you thought was "magnificent desolation" is actually a thriving oasis. No, really!).

Here 'tis:

Quote:
Half A Century Of The German Moon-Base : 1942 to 1992
A Cygnus production

(excerpt)
In my extensive research of dissident American theories about the physical conditions on the Moon I have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is atmosphere, water and vegetation on the Moon and that man does not need a space suit to walk on the Moon. A pair of jeans, a pullover and sneakers are just about enough. Everything NASA has told the world about the Mood is a lie and it was done to keep the exclusivity of the club from joining by the third world countries. All these physical conditions make it a lot more easier to build a Moon base. Ever since their first day of landing on the Moon, the Germans started boring - and tunnelling under the surface and by the end of the war there was a small Nazi research base on the Moon. The free energy tachyon drive craft of the Haunibu-1 and 2 type were used after 1944 to haul people," material and the first robots to the construction site on the Moon. When Russians and Americans secretly landed jointly on the Moon in the early fifties with their own saucers, they spent their first night there as guests of the Nazi underground base.
A pair of jeans, a pullover and sneakers, eh? I'd like to take the author up there in his street wear and watch him decompress.

Below is a link to the full "article". For some reason I couldn't view the page without selecting the text with a left mouse click.

Eat your heart out Clavius!

Cheers,

JB

Irony, you have me intrigued. Just what kind of site do you have? Could you give me the URL?

Cheers.

Click on the little house below his post. Links to his homepage. Does for most other people as well, with the notable exception of one of the trolls.

Cheers. I may have just made it to Apprentice, but obviously I'm not quite up on the basic protocols.

I think Irony is a woman. She asked to be cast as Arwen in The Lord of the Conspiracy Theories.

If Irony is a man, he's got some issues.

If she is single would that make her a 'woman' instead of a 'women'?

Aah yes, Robert Heinlein of "Starship Troopers" fame! Great stuff! (this particular book got a bit of a panning though, didn't it?)

Sorry for being chauvinistic there. (ADDED: I've only just realised - this is not my error, but Mainframes'. I'm off the hook...)But then again, if irony is a man with some "issues", need those "issues" necessarily be negative?

Okay, sorry about any connotations, irony!

Damn! This is the second time this has happened!

Alright, alright - back to the topic!

(edited to get myself off the hook)

Well spotted! But give me a break - it's late Friday night here in Japan (morning actually), and it's been a long week.

Nevertheless, point well taken. I remember reading in another post somewhere, a piece of infinite wisdom:

Never post drunk!

I'm logging off now. Goodnight all!

*holds up a sign that says '100% Woman'*

Although TheSpark.com's gender test thought I was a guy...

The gender test said I was a guy too, which is ok since I am male.

Maybe it just gives everybody the same answer, figuring that more guys than girls surf the 'net.

Dang, the Natzi's have been to the moon and have a base there? I guess i must of missed that one. Hmm...I am going to have a strong word with their leader tomorrow in my daily talk with the Zeta's.

Form the site mentioned above:
Quote:
In the sixties a massive Russian - American base had been built on the Moon, that now has a population of 40,000 people, as the rumour goes. After the end of the war in May 1945, the Germans continued their space effort from their south polar colony of Neu Schwabenland. I have discovered a photograph of their underground space control centre.
Shoot, i missed out on this one too. 40,000 people? Why do i always get the short straw?

Jay are you really in Utah? Are you sure you are not posting from the moon? It would make sense since you know so much about it. So what is 1/6th grav like?

Wouldnt it be "[bump]"? I mean i can't image that at 1/6th gravity you would fall that hard.
