Default Did the Philadelphia Experiment exist?

The Philadelphia Experiment which was mentioned in the Bermuda Triangle TV series "The Triangle" and also made into a movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087910/

For those unaware, Camden (NJ) is across the Delaware River from Philadelphia (PA). Camden is the headquarters of the Campbell Soup Company, although the soup plant closed in the 1990s.

ok so what was the Camden Experiment? See how many shops selling Dr Martins Boots and 'Punky' clothes you can get within 100 yards of Camden Tube Station and then cram the area full of American Tourists?
