I was surfing and saw a familiar looking wild haired guy getting hollered at by O'Reilly...only caught the end as Fetzer talked about finding out how the 9/11 victims died.
Going to have to watch the replay on later, but sounds like it must have been quite a verbal joust... |

Did anyone see this interview? Did anyone see O'reilly when he was on the Daily show? Hilarious (and calm, believe it or not!) Is Fetzer the one who did Loose Change? Pete Pete

Is Fetzer the one who did Loose Change?
No, that's Dylan Avery. Fetzer is the guy that started Scholars for Truth 9/11. This post brought to you by "Keeping Your Kooks Straight Ltd", and the letters W and O

Did either let a word in edgewise? There's one TV show I'm glad I missed. Frankly, I have no respect for either Fetzer or O'Reilly. As far as I can tell both seem to believe that the truth belongs to the one who bellows loudest.

Darn, missed the beginning, but it was basically...
O'Reilly: If you have the evidence, why can't you get it published in the anti-Bush press? Fetzer: They're dominated by the US Government (website plug) O'Reilly: You're a nut Fetzer: You can't handle the truth (website plug) I was a Marine O'Reilly: You're a nut, and a disgrace. They're getting some exposure, and it's not playing well in any forum. Their effort for the 9/11 anniversary was a total bust best as I can tell. I'll keep watching to see how this progresses. Looking at recent news and some websites, they seem to be involved in a lot of internal conflict...various theories/conspiracies, locking out evidence, etc. The truth is hard to determine in a conspiracy minded community. |

Part of what makes this so amusing is that all the various CT groups can agree on is that they don't believe the "offical" record. Aside from that they tend to have mutually exclusive hypotheses that cannot all be true. Often these ideal will be espoused simultaneously by one person in a way that would make Lewis Carroll's Red Queen (three impossible ideas before breakfast) blush.

Excluding the outright lies, my complaint with the 911 CTs is that they can NEVER supply any numbers to back up their claims. Like how much explosives were needed to bring down the WTC buildings. I will have to look for the rebroadcast too.

Numbers are for ANSWERS. These guys are only asking QUESTIONS.....and CAPITALISING*. You don't need numbers for that. As for BOR against Fetzer....sounds like it was as coherent, deep and well-articulated a debate as you'd get between The Cookie Monster and Taz. And I missed it. Dagnabbit. jc * or CAPITALIZING, if you prefer |

I missed it but just as well. Bill O'Reilly is such a windbag and bore that I'd just as soon be strapped in a chair and forced to listen to a hour-long speech by Al Gore or John Kerry as listen to O'Reilly for 5 minutes. Given the choice, I'd just as soon slit my wrists as listen to any of them. I don't "do" shout TV or radio.

Fetzer says squat but that's not unusal for BOR's guests since he really doesn't allow them to complete a thought, often not even a sentence.
