It looks like he is now #2 on the list.

Let's make Bartie Boy the "Sanjaya" of the Apollo hoax world. Keep voting!

BTW, I love how they have him listed as an "athlete".

I never thought I'd say this but if I had to choose whether to be locked in a room for an hour with Sanjaya (disliked "American Idol" contestant) or with Bart Sibrel, I'd choose Sanjaya. At least he can hula.

(Do not -- repeat, not -- imagine Bart Sibrel doing the hula.)

Thanks so much, Jay. That's much like the fellow who, once he has your attention, says, "Do not think of dancing purple elephants." It's pure evil.

(By the way, I've done that a couple times.)

I think this is because of his experience as a boxer. At least, he had one highly publicized, very brief match.

Certainly from the bits I've seen of his work (particularly 'A funny thing etc') the material he produces is not just annoying, but downright insulting to anyone with half a brain.

Oh, great. Now excuse me while I go put out my own eyes.

That won't do any good. We'll all need to wash our brains to get rid of that terrible image.

No need. As I'm sure you know, all us Apollo Believers are already brainwashed.

I believe the expression "to gouge out one's mind's eye" is from Frasier. My ren faire boss uses it a lot.

My best friend is from Hawaii, and I'm not going to share some of the knowledge about various kinds of hula that she inflicted on me; you don't want those images.

The Barthula would be a good way to illustrate hysteresis.

I tried that, but I ended up changing my windows colors to a mix of eggshell-blue/puce and that orange you get from the now-thawed pumpkin on your front porch you still haven't thrown away from last halloween.

Can I go back to voting like I know what I'm doing?

He's currently ranked #3. I suspect that both he and his "followers" are stuffing the ballot box just as we are doing. Ten votes a day. That's all we ask.
