Default Asteroid 2017?

Hey folks I just finished reading an article about a "Planet Killing asteroid" is claimed to miss earth by a few hundred thousand miles or so?
Sorry if this has been posted previously.

What do you guys think about this?

Are you thinking of Apophis? Then it is 2029. 1/40,000 chance of hitting a sweet spot in Earth's gravitational field that will send it back around and hit Earth in 2039.

Use the search feature and search for Apophis. Mucho hits.
