WARNING: Do not have any liquids in your mouth while reading.

I was on amazon looking for new releases on NASA and discovered that Hoagland and Bara are releasing this gem.

For most Americans, the word NASA suggests a squeaky-clean image of technological infallibility.
Most american's not familiar with all the missions that failed...

Yet the truth is that NASA was born in a lie, and has concealed the truths about its occult origins. Dark Mission documents this seemingly wild assertion.
Yes, that indeed sounds like a wild assertion. The sun also seems bright. That's because it is.

Quote:
Dark Mission is proof of the secret history of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the astonishing, seminal discoveries it has repeatedly suppressed for decades.
The book itself is proof? I thought it was suppose to be about proof? You can't write a book about proof, and have it then become proof in and of itself. Of can you? :Starts to write a book called "Fazor is the undisputed ruler of all the eye can see:

Well, in fairness, two standouts from the top twenty are "The Secret" and "The Weightloss Secret they don't want you to Know About."

Best-seller and best are totally different beasts.

I'd like to know more about that...

Here's what really annoys me:

How the heck did it get tagged as an Astrophysics & Space Science book? Worse yet, under the Professional category?

Amazon's About the Author section was lifted from Mr. Hoagland's Wikipedia bio. I am the original author of the Career section of that bio.

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Hoagland served as a "Curator of Astronomy & Space Science" [3] at the "Springfield Museum of Science", located at The Quadrangle in Springfield, Massachusetts, and as a science adviser to Walter Cronkite and CBS News during the Apollo program. [4]
Thank you, jrkeller, for bringing Hoagland's book to my attention.

I'm wondering....could this book have the "memory wiped astronauts" claim in it?

...and who among us would be willing to "take one for the team" and read it to find out??

At 550 pages, I'll buy that when it's cheaper than toilet paper.

I have the opposite opinion. I would love to "take one for the team" and review this book.

I mean, really. This has to be the funniest thing since Douglas Adams, as long as you read it in the right frame of mind Sure, it's utter pukebag in it's overall ethics and slander, but it sounds comical in it's accusations. I hope it has cool things like the Majestic 12 or Reptilian Overlords, instead of just the boring old "Nazi" poisoning the well garbage.

Mystical organizations quietly dominate NASA, carrying out their own secret agendas behind the scenes. This is the story of men at the very fringes of rational thought and conventional wisdom, operating at the highest levels of our country. Their policies are far more aligned with ancient religions and secret mystery schools than the façade of rational science NASA has successfully promoted to the world for almost fifty years.
Oh my god *facepalms*
