The other day I was on the roof snapping away pictures of the sunset. The sun was slowly leaning towards the west and the beautiful clouds were reflecting the golden rays of the setting sun. One of the pictures that I took was this.

BTW, I'm one of the little running specks in your frame from Independence Day. The location for "Area 51" was the former Wendover Air Force Base on the Utah-Nevada border. It serves as the airport for Wendover, NV and has luxuriously long, wide, flat runways (for dunces like me).

a) The object looks like an ashtray to me. Sort of.

b) The object appears to be at a much higher dpi (another way of saying resolution) than its background.
