What I particularly enjoyed about this thread were the "conversations" of the two extreme ends of verbal skills; JayUtah and MarsRevealer.

Hans, I have long been familiar with Gary's goofy and vulgar scribblings, and even saved his infamous May 25, 2001, threat (which I will not repeat here) leveled against a fellow poster at the Mars...A Red Planet Roundtable Discussion forum. However, I am not familiar with his non-Revealer writing style. Does the unsigned report on his site look like his "normal" style?

Howdy Alan

Ah yes you are a survivor of MR's ramblings also. Sorry I forgot about you. I would suspect that is his writing, but wouldn't bet any money on it!

I wonder if I could get a grant to study MR?

Ah was that threat against Donald? I don't actually recall it.

The threat of violence was against either Donald or Al. MR didn't mention his name and I didn't save the post he was replying to. I do remember that when the threatened poster complained to the forum's moderator, asking him if threats were tolerated on his forum, MR denied that his words were threatening. The thread was not indexed by search engines or archived by the Wayback Machine.

The anticoagulant doesn't actually increase the risk of the aneurysm leaking or rupturing: that depends largely on the vessel wall. What it does do is decrease your chance of surviving a leak.
Many cerebral aneurysms present with an initial small leak, which is stopped by vessel spasm and blood clotting. That provides a "therapeutic window" for definitive treatment before there's another leak. But anticoagulation means that your first leak is like to be your last, although even then there are cases on record of people surviving.

However, most people don't know they have a cerebral aneurysm until it pops. And it turns out that taking aspirin protects more people from ischaemic stroke than it harms with haemorrhagic stroke. So unless you know you have an aneurysm (or other potential leaky vessel), aspirin is your friend.

Sincere thanks to everyone for their kind comments earlier in this thread. And thank you, JayUtah, for your clarification.

It's ironic the thread diverged into the topic of headaches. Sometimes when I'm in the middle stages of a severe migraine attack I can get a little grouchy and also misunderstand things. I spent a couple days in the hospital due to what was either a TIA or Todd's Paralysis. More tests will probably be needed. The main pain right now is from the damage to my left hip and lower back where I fell.

But, certainly much to the chagrin of a few people, I'm still kicking.

Ouch! I hope the tests turn out well. I'm sure you're concerned about the possible TIA. Welcome back.

Thanks, R.A.F. Your thoughts are appreciated. Besides the pain, the main thing (and what's got me worried) is the numbness on my left side is taking quite a while to get back to where it usually is.

I've had episodes like this before. They've been attributed to either a mild stroke, TIA, or Todd's Paralysis, usually with a worse-than-usual migraine attack as the supposed trigger. What triggers the migraines no neurologist has been able to figure out.

But the left leg still doesn't like weight being put on it and collapses unexpectedly. However, sorry CTs and HBs (except for MR, who is now "immune"), the right hand still types quite well.

Expect the next series of unpublished, suppressed Mars "face" photos on October 13th, which is, of course, this Shadowday.

Thank you for the welcome back, Van Rijn. Ditto re the tests. I've yet to have the one where they inject stuff into you and track it through the brain. Of course, the good news is, with my cranial volume, it'll be a quick test.

I wonder if a part of those cranial contents was affected, since I now notice that a lot of my typing is dyslexic. The spell check catches them, fortunately. Never had that problem before.

Meanwhile, what's left in the debris of this thread to talk about?

Thanks, AGN Fuel. I back to walking again, but only with a cane. Takes a little getting used to. Beats crutches though.

Perhaps you could send some of the energy from that galactic nucleus this way?

Oh, Mak, I hope you're OK! And I hope reading MR's last, nonsensical posts didn't cause it!

Please keep us up-to-date, if you can! And good luck with everything!

Appreciate that, Alan G. Archer. Fall and winter are when I'm usually the most active outdoors. Being confined like this is frustrating. Hope the docs get everything fixed and soon.

Meanwhile I'm needed over in Amazing untrue records. Someone has apparently committed a wisecrackback block on an innocent standbyer, and needs to be penalized. Let's see, how big could the font be and still allow "wisecrackback block" to be tattooed into a linebacker's torso?

Thanks, Jay. Glad those things got worked out. My apologies for misunderstanding.
