My understanding, which may be completely wrong, is that the shuttle and ISS are hoaxes because we supposedly don't have the wisdom and knowledge to pull it off according to matt. It's supposedly a hoax to bolster the illuminati's illusion of "god-like" human power - apparently putting men and women into space is a "god-like" power because it shows the beginnings of the "conquest of the universe." The only thing I can figure is that Matt thinks it's somehow impossible for us to safely and successfully do any manned space missions at all. He's very lacking as to explaining any physical reasons that make any of his alleged conspiracies "impossible to be real" and seems content with his claimed motives for a conspiracy as being proof of a conspiracy.

That's the catch-22 of all of this. Landing a man/woman on the moon, or using these satellites and space stations, in the '60's or this month, is trivial compared to the wisdom, power, and technology that would be required to pull of the conspiracy he claims.

unless, of course, he's the only person who isn't "in on it."

If he's a rat in a cage, then it'd be fairly easy. They know when he goes outside and looks up at the sky, because they're always watching him. They can shoot an arrow overhead (or however they simulate a satellite) at those times.

It's not really that much of a stretch to suggest that MM believes he's the only person on Earth (or one of a tiny few) who isn't in on the hoax. Lots of delusions incorporate the perceived specialness of the holder. It's basic narcissism. How many people believe themsevles to be "the chosen one" or Jesus Christ or something like that? Remember all the chemtrail posters that say, "look up in the sky! planes are spraying chemicals" as if it's so obvious, all you have to do is look up, but chemtrail believers are special because only they ever actually look up. MM's specialness is that the whole world is a vast conspiracy designed to keep him and only him in the dark.

When I was 7 or 8 I can remember briefly believing that my kind, loving parents had been replaced by these mean, evil imposters who made me do my homework.

Good summary. It makes you just want to scream "Hey, nutters! Reality is interesting too!"

NGCHunter, that's a really nice diagram showing how Venus would look in a geocentric solar system. I'd like to hear MM's rebuttal to your photo. I hope he can do better than claiming we are all part of a conspiracy. After all, anyone with a cheapie K-Mart telescope ( I used to have one as a kid) can verify your photo.

Edited to add: I loved that telescope, not matter what Charlie Babbitt said about K-Mart.

Maybe he'll say that what our senses tell us is wrong because we're plugged into the Matrix, or the Illumi-no-nos can project illusions or something. Or maybe just that K-Mart is part of The Conspiracy!

All idle speculation until Matt returns and explains exactly what he means by the Shuttle and ISS are "hoaxes".

Matt, do you deny that they actually exist? Or simply that there are humans aboard? And why exactly must either be so, in your view, especially since you do not deny the reality of other Earth satellites?

And I reiterate my offer to show you the ISS as it travels overhead, as well as the Shuttle during an STS mission. Tell me where you live, and I'll tell you exactly when and where to look.

MattMarriot is clearly part of an ancient and underground organization who's goal is to control the world by attempting to make people believe things that really aren't true.

A major flaw in the all science is a fraud is that the individuals scientist come many backgrounds, different religions, different nations and different classes. One conspiracy that does not realize this the Proiry of Scion hoax, the have Newton and Da Vinci as leaders of the group but they were members of rival branches of the same religion. There is also the case of Galileo and Kepler both started the basis for astrophysics today, and the had real difficulty commicating with each other not only because the distance between them but because of the two religions were fighting with each other.
Earlier this century there was Chandra and Eddington. Cnandra was from a hindu family in India and Eddington was of course was british. These two clashed over Chandras` limit that put the upper limit of the mass of stars would become white dwarves this contrasted with Eddington view on the subject, Chandra eventually gave up and moved on in the subject of works and physically to Yerkes. Latter in àstronomers started to find pulsars and other evidence of neuton stars, then later evidence for black holes. Chandra was proven right and received his Nobel in 80`s over 60 years after he had the first idea on the subject. Chandras and Eddingtons work came from GR which was developed by a man of jewish decent and the first pulsar was found by Jocelyn Bell at Cambridge the same place where Eddigton And Chandra worked, Dr Bell herself was a quaker.
The reason religion and nationalities were brought up was because the Illumaniti would have to control people all over the world during time when it was hard to send messages within one country let alon all over the world. Also they would of been in power for thousands of years to alter the evidence and ideas. There have been powers that blocked ideas and evidence but these are a lot more mundane.

Well I just watched the Shuttle Discovery take off over my house, so I guess the Illuminati put up a hologram in the sky far far in advance of anything human science because they couldn't build a nuts-and-bolts 1970s-technology spaceplane....

Ah, be carefull. It's not because they couldn't build a real 70's tech spaceplane; it's because that's less evil than tricking people into thinking they had. Illuminati's Razor-The most complicatedly evil answer is usually the most correct answer.

Its been a couple of days since MM was allowed back from his time-out. I would suggest, if he is not going to contribute and answer the pending questions, that we close this thread, maybe with a note to MM to PM a mod if he decides to return.
