Yes, that's what led to the quote revision. Some of the more "senior" members can probably tell you better than I, but there's certian "trigger words" that really give away what kind of poster you're dealing with. That seems to be one of them (obviously, depending on the context).

I also get enjoyment out of phrases that include both the words "fact" and "believe", which tend to end up something like:
"It's a fact that the face on mars was built by Buggs Bunny after he made a wrong turn at Albequercy and ended up at Mars instead of Egypt. I believe this is true because you can see the bunny tracks that Nasa tried to cover-up in this photo."
Something that's really a fact shouldn't have to be believed, it should just be known.

You need more CAPS. THE TRUTH!!!! is always given in ALL CAPS with lots of !!!!!!!!!. But none of you PAID GOVERNMENT DISINFORMATION AGENTS will Allow THE TRUTH to COME OUT, because you have CLOSED MINDS!!! Lots of nice colors are part of THE TRUTH too.

The GLP'ers are getting to me, they're so sure it's this date, I had a question though.. What is the Electric universe theory? I did a search on the BAUT but didn't seem to come across anything. Why are they so sure that the sumerians knew about pluto before we did?

EU theories became pretty much Taboo here before I joined, but from what little I've had the unfortunate chance to glean, the EU theory seems based off the idea that electric/plasmatic energy permiates the universe, and is responsable for various things that are otherwise better explained with current theory.

AFAIK, none of it's proponets here have ever been able to present any actual calculations/formluas/etc to support the idea, which, AFAIK, is how it became such a taboo subject.

But I speak out of turn, I'm sure some of the more learned and regular users could tell you more, though a wiki search might be better suit
