Default Favourite UFO Footage

This is my favourite UFO footage. I apologise beforehand if it's already been posted here.

This has been shown to be a computer generated flick. I do find it entertaining though. Now if only "authentic" UFO films would show the same kind of detail there would be no doubt. Instead, we get the usual blurry, out of focus, blobs or distant dots of light against a black background.

The effects look similar to the trailers made with Vue. Amazing what you can do on a desktop nowadays.

My favorites are all of them. I have an outright belief in that all the term UFO stands for is its name sake until proven otherwise. So I enjoy a bit of fake and misunderstood spotting. I also think that this day and age is the bane of UFO (as in little green men) believers in as far as technology can provide excellent evidence compared with ten or more years ago and it isn't forthcoming.

Try watching it while listening to the shuttle re-entry, it's hilarious.

The shuttle was doing roll maneuvers while the UFO video was showing the craft rotate...

Next; i'll see if it syncs up with Dark of the Moon.

With programs like 3DStudio and Adobe AfterEffects so easy to get, its a wonder there isn't even more 'believable' UFO footage out there (way too many people sitting around with too much time on their hands....)

But you can do it on the cheap without 3d graphics, too. Take a look at this 'UFO' done using a cheap R/C model plane:

Well, there's a two-fold reason for this I believe. For starters, CGI applications are very easily (if not legally) available, but that doesn't mean they're easy to use convincingly.

Also, because so many people have access to them, and have some experience with them, it makes it easier for people to play "Spot the CG".

Hoaxes using real-life models and old-school special effects are much more convincing, IMHO.

The downfall of video hoaxers is the idea that any one video without any corroborating evidence could ever be enough to convince the skeptics that the footage was of an alien vehicle.

That is a really good fake.

Some years ago, in the pre-cgi era, it could have been taken as 100% real.

It's got my vote as the best footage I've seen. Certainly the best effects imaginable, even in the late 1960s.

If that's when it was actually filmed/created...

Since I've never seen it before, I strongly doubt that...

Interesting that there are so many posting fake footage.

When I was eleven or twelve I was with four other friends on a very clear beautiful afternoon.

We did actually see a UFO,and it made no sound and it was up in the sky above us.
After about 5 minutes it went straight up and disappeared in seconds.

We were not freaked or afraid just very curious.

I have never seen any thing like this since and don't invest time investigating but I do know pilots who claim to have seen UFO's as well.

So while I have had the experience of observing something that isn't within our known capacity of aviation,I do realize that people will hoax.

This phenomenon does exist and I hope people can keep an open mind.

Welcome, Magnolia. No one here disputes that there is such thing as a UFO. What we dispute is the automatic terminology of "UFO" to equal "alien spacecraft." You're right; a lot of pilots have seen things they can't identify. However, there is no evidence that there was anything inexplicable there, just unexplained.

Well I apologize since I haven't read enough here to know all context, and what I saw would suggest it was being operated by something.

It was close enough to see that it was a craft of some sort and because it was still for at least five minutes we were all able to look up and observe it so yeah I can understand when someone sees a light bouncing around the sky at night,my experience was in broad daylight in a clear beautiful sky.

Certainly stirs the imagination.

Perhaps, but don't expect anyone here to take it on face value; that's not our way. If you want to present your story as evidence of alien craft--which I'm not suggesting you necessarily do!--remember that you're going to be asked for a lot of details, including, off the top of my head, how long ago the incident was. Memories can change quite a lot over time, you know!
