Default Local Radio Show!!!

ARG!!! It's every where! Sorry I didn't post this sooner, but I've been rather busy the past couple of days.

Tuesday the local rock station had a topic on conspiracys and mentioned the Apollo Hoax. The one guy said, "I believe it would be easier to fake it rather than go to the moon." Then the host cites the flag waving argument and the old Fox Broadcast. (Man that was a sucessful broadcast for Fox, everyone remembers it! Even the people who shouldn't!) Then all these crazys here in Orlando, one was talking how he was in a real-life Mophman Prophecies, start coming out of the wood work. #-o No one said anything to the contrary, so I sent the show an e-mail debunking the flag waving thing, and mentioning that Russia would have made a scene had we faked it (cause it's not that hard to intercept radio signals and triangulate their origin) and sent radio hosts the BA site for more info.

Just wondering if there was a better way I could have handled that since I have limited experiance explaining the truth to HBs (only twice).

Keeping a list of advertisers on that segment can be helpful, if letters to them point out the hoax nature of the material. Also, just copying quotes from the hosts, and their guests, and posting them on a site with the radio station ID, so that future google searches give info on hoax promotion activity. And letters to their news department (if any) or community service office might raise the point. But that's still only 'moral persuasion', I guess.
