Do you believe that at least SOME of the contrails are chemtrails?

If so, who do you believe is behind their (chemtrails) generation (military,gvt.,CIA, aliens, etc)?

And if you believe some are chemtrails, do you think they are a risk to your health?

I believe some are indeed chemtrails but since the vast majority are not, I don't worry about them being a risk to anyone's health.

Conspiracy theorists say you can tell if a contrail is really a chemtrail if it stays in the air for a long time or if there is more than one of them and they form weird patterns like x's. If the military or the CIA or whoever wanted to spray chemicals on us in secret, why would they deliberately make them look conspicuous?

Do we need to put up with conspiracy theories under "General Science"?

Before I essay an answer, would you care to define "chemtrail" as you understand the term?

The first (and presumably most accepted) Urban Dictionary definition is:
If that's your answer, particularly including the second sentence, mine is flat no. Contrails however are demonstrably made up of chemicals, and probably have ice crystals, so I suppose there is a limited sense in which the answer is "duh".

I also suppose I'm not spiritual enough.

The dihydrogen oxide (aka hydroxic acid) is one of the combustion products. Makes up some of the magic crystals, don't you know.

Magic crystals of hydroxic acid are currently accumulating over the greater Cleveland area at a pretty high rate. You are welcome to take as many of them as you like out of my driveway - bring a shovel.

Sure are, but I don't think it's from airplanes. It's probably from that hydroxic acid eruption downtown. It was pretty bad, made a big crater, and they were able to hit it right in the middle of town in public square.

I'm not so sure your complacency is justified. I melted some of those hydroxic acid crystals to test its properties, and in liquid form it's an incredible solvent. I would venture to say that its abilities as a solvent appear to be nearly universal.

There is more of this stuff in your body than you think!

This stuff is actually so dangerous that it has actually destroyed hundreds of thousands (or even millions!) of acres of farmland and housing around the world.

It's been found in the ocean, in rivers, lakes and resevoirs, and in rain all over the world.
