they are right more often than they are wrong.
they must be a part of the governments disinformation service... they put out the future plans of the gubmint in the form of humorous stories to prepare the masses for when they put their evil plans into action by setting the expectations of the populace nice and low..

One of my all-time favourite Onion headlines was "Revised Patriot Act Will Make It Illegal To Read Patriot Act." But I'm hoping their article "Everything That Can Go Wrong Listed" won't turn out to be prophetic.
