Would Buzz Aldrin Have Fought To Be First To Step On The Moon If It Weren't For Real?

(of course they'd say he was just play acting that too)

It's a science fiction convention. It HAS to be "Stone Knives and Bearskins: How to Get to the Moon with 1960's Technology." I mean, come on! You can't GET a better fit!

Yeah..tying Star Trek into a talk to be given at a sci/fi convention only makes sense.

I also have a talk about astrobiology that I've entitled "To Seek Out New Life", so keeping to the theme would be good.

I would change it slightly to
"Stone Knives and Bearskins: How we got to the Moon with 1960s Technology."

The hoax clue is still there, but it affirms that we actually went.

It's clever, but it doesn't give much of an indication that I'm mostly going to be talking about hoax claims.

I like this one, actually. It's polite, which I do think is important. It leaves in the ambiguity which might be needed to attract doubters. And while it doesn't quote anything sci-fi, it does allude to one of the most pithy statements about the Moon ever made, at least if you change it to "magnificent," which I think might be what Spoons meant.

It's a bit of a stretch, but I was interpreting the "Stone Knives and Bearskins" part as a reference to the HB claims of how the technology during the time of Apollo was insufficient as well as a sci-fi tie-in. Understandably, it probably makes more sense to those who've heard such claims.

Using the Star Trek theme .... sort of ... this came to mind:

"To boldly go where hoaxers fear to tread!"

Kiff, lay out my formal dress shorts. I'm giving a talk on the Moon hoax. A very sensual and seductive talk.

"Stone Knives and Bearskins: How we got to the Moon with 1960s Technology"

I think MartianMarvin's tweak is a good one.
