Ah, but what about the peer-reviewed status? Or is that satisfied by having more than 0 views?

In current media climate, no, I would not be concerned about my safety at all.

I would not bring my evidence to police. I would bring it to CNN. Within an hour I would become a worldwide celebrity. Killing me would be the most sure way to collaborate my story.

Sure, you can consider the far reaching possibility in your brain of some wild and implausible scenario to explain how the Sun couldn't exist and how come so much solid evidence shows that it does...

But the question would remain absurd.

There's no point in answering such a thing, really.
Here is my take on a somewhat more plausible conspiracy theory, and why I am convinced that particular conspiracy could never be kept secret:

Flight TWA 800

Everything above applies to Moon Landing, just squared or cubed.

The largest part of the Apollo program (about 60% of the total program cost) was the Saturn V booster development.

If the *entire* Apollo program was fraudulent, that would certainly include the Saturn V.

Yet from 1967 to 1973, millions of people saw them launched with their own eyes -- not on TV , but in person. Millions felt the shock waves hit their bodies, and saw them slowly climb out of sight.

How could that be faked? If it was real but the lunar part was faked, then the entire program wasn't faked, just part of it.

If the entire program was faked, that's like saying the Yankees didn't win the world series yesterday -- it was a bunch of humanoid robots impersonating them.
