Default BAUT Forum down July 28

BAUT Forum is back for a bit, hopefully longer. It was just down for a couple hours, and down for a while maybe 12 hours ago that I know of.

I see this in BA Blog: BA Hostiness Issues

Quote:
Folks– The web host for this site, BlueVirtual, is making some changes over the weekend (changing datacenters for you tech geeks out there). The site is running abysmally slow, and I suspect this is the reason. Hopefully this will clear up in a few hours, but for now, be patient. Ironically, if you’re reading this on Saturday morning, you probably already were patient to get this far!

Down again for some time (from the looks of recent articles, maybe 6 hours), and back now.

Sorry I didn't explain this earlier, our servers were moved to a brand new facility, which is cool, but there were some unexpected complexities. What should have taken us down for only 4 hours last night ended up keeping the servers offline for nearly 20 hours, with a few ups and down.

There might be another outage tonight, and then we're all in the clear.

Sorry for the inconveniences.

If we halt the ISS, all versions of Ares, and transport Orion and Altair aboard DIRECTv3's Jupiter family of Shuttle-Derived Launch Vehicles, we just might make it back to the Moon by 2020.

You timed it well. I was moving. Didn't notice a thing.

Hmm, I removed a couple of features for guests to speed up the performance of the server. I wonder if that's what you're seeing (or not seeing).

sigh...you get used to something then an
"improvement" rears its head! Ah well, things
did get back to "normal" after the last
change as I remember. Guests need
consideration too.
