Default BAUT and Firefox

I am on Firefox 3.5.4.3

On that BAUT only gets to the banner and the name of the forum

Anyone else getting this problem

I have had to add BAUT to being an IE tab to see this

I'm using Firefox 3.5.3 and I'm not having any problems. Perhaps it would be a good idea not to upgrade to version 3.5.4.3!

The NoScript did an update today

Which is the problematic version of NoScript? I'm running 1.9.9.11 (with Firefox 3.5.3) without problem.

Same here. I have had problems running NoScript in the past though.

Posted using FireFox 3.5.4 with NoScript 1.9.9.14

I have bautforum.com allowed in NoScript, which might make a difference.

I thought I had, and when I looked, it was there on the white list, but all that I got was the top banner and one line saying the name of the forum.

My laptop wants to install this as well, but for the moment i am not letting it. If you go to the website for NoScript and follow through to the forum, you will find in trouble shooting that others have had similar issues.

Looks like NoScript have fixed the fault on the 1.9.9.14 version

I use Firefox 3.5 and I cant post new threads, I can replay in other threads (OFC) but only via quick replay.

Do i have to wait untill a moderator accepts me as a member or is it firefox that stops me?

Your newbie status is linked to the number of posts, it's not something a moderator does. The fact that the advanced editor won't work leads me to believe it might be some plugin for firefox. Perhaps some protection plugin to do with scripts? I'm on firefox 3.5.4 and it works fine.

You have to allow javascript in order to use anything other than the simplest quick reply, that may be the reason.

Alternatively, depending on where you try to start your thread, you may have hit the notorious "time" bug.
Some of the subfora has words they don't like in the title, but you aren't told that's the problem, it just fails.

Where were you trying to start a thread, and what was it's title?

Well when I try to post a thread firefox is loading for about 20 sec then firefox just turns white.

Well how do I allow Javascript?

Usually it's on by default when it's installed, but otherwise go to Tools > Options > Content > check "enable javascript."

Are you running any add-ons like NoScript?

Nick

That sounds like you're using a (probably unintentionally) blocked word. As Henrik asked:

Where (which subforum) were you trying to start a thread, and what was it's title?

(javascript: Tools -> Options -> Content -> [x] enable javascript)

It worked now, I got a message where it said that I would wait until a moderator had checked the post. So I'll have to do that.

That bit is because you're new and have triggered one of the anti-spam patterns, an example would be if you have a link in the post.

The moderators are generally fast to check that and allow those that aren't spam.

The post had a link. Posts with links are held for moderator approval while you have the newbie status, which you won't keep much longer.
